Leland spent over 200 DAYS at the Kentucky Humane Society, waiting patiently for his forever family to come along. Day in and day out, he watched his fellow shelter dogs get their happy endings. Still, Leland waited. We promised him we’d never give up, and that we knew his perfect match was out there looking for him.
FINALLY, after months of waiting, Leland’s people came and instantly knew he was their dog. They introduced him to his new canine and human siblings, before making Leland an OFFICIAL part of the family! Many happy tears were shed as we said bittersweet goodbyes to the special boy we’d all grown to love so much.
We’d like to say a massive “THANK YOU” to everyone who impacted Leland’s life while he was at KHS. Whether you took him on adventures, shared his story or sent words of encouragement while he waited for his family to find him, YOU played a part in this happily ever after!
